Upgrading the fog light bulbs on your 2014–2020 Toyota Tundra is one of the easiest ways to improve safety, style, and performance. Many owners switch to LED fog light bulbs for brighter output, a cleaner white color, and longer lifespan.
Toyota updated the fog light bulb design starting in 2014. Because of that, older fog light bulbs will not fit these newer trucks. Make sure you choose bulbs specifically designed for the 2014–2020 Tundra.
Why Upgrade to LED Fog Light Bulbs?
Drivers upgrade to LED fog lights for several reasons:

Increased brightness for better visibility in rain, snow, and fog

Improved visibility to others on the road

Modern white or yellow color output

Longer lifespan compared to halogen bulbs
LED fog light bulbs also turn on instantly and maintain consistent performance over time.
Accessing the Fog Light Bulb
To reach the back of the fog light housing, you’ll need to remove three 10mm bolts.

Two bolts sit on the backside of the outer edge of the bumper.

The third bolt is underneath, closer to the middle.
These bolts secure the plastic liner in place.
Note: You can technically access the bulb from above, but you must remove the headlight housing first. You cannot remove the entire fog light housing using the top-down method.
Removing the Plastic Liner
Once you remove the bolts:

Slide the plastic liner toward the center of the truck.

Carefully pry it outward.
If a small plastic bracket falls out, don’t worry. Set it aside. This bracket attaches to the liner and gives the bolts something to grip when reinstalling.
With the liner pulled back, you now have clear access to the fog light bulb and connector.
Removing the Fog Light Housing (Optional)
If you need additional space or plan to replace the entire housing, removal is simple.

Locate the single outer bolt securing the housing.

Remove it.

The housing will drop free.
