The “Cyborg Forte” custom build at 2012 SEMA was part of a superhero display and used red LED bulbs in the front parking light spot by GTR Lighting.
The 2012 SEMA show was an awesome event, just like every year and during last week’s event was the first time ever you could see the new 24-LED bulb replacements on display at such an event. Here are two vehicles showcasing the colored LED bulb replacements, first on the Kia Forte “Cyborg” concept build inside the Kia booth. Secondly in the Smart Wax booth installed on the new Scion XB.
These are the 24-LED bulbs from GTR Lighting used in these show cars.
The 2012 Kia Forte looks great with aftermarket LED bulbs in the front housing because there is no amber reflector to block the great looking bulb. I don’t recommend using a red bulb up front like KIA did, but it looks cool for the show!

The new Scion XB built and setup in the Speed Wax booth at the SEMA Show used a set of white LED bulbs in the front turn signal housings which is a cool effect because it adds a daytime running light or driving light effect where there previously wasn’t one. This particular show car had a strobe light module set up that looked really great, but just adding the LED bulbs in place looked fantastic as well!
